Kiiko Matsumoto

Kiiko Matsumoto is a prominent figure in Japanese acupuncture, internationally recognized for her academic and practical work in the field of traditional medicine.


Graduated from the Meiji College of Oriental Medicine acupuncture school in Japan, she developed the Kiiko Matsumoto Acupuncture Style (KMS), characterized by the use of highly systematic palpatory methods.


Her unique teaching style and extensive clinical experience, spanning over thirty-five years, have made her a respected leader in the international acupuncture community.


As the founder of Kiiko Style of Acupuncture, Kiiko Matsumoto is recognized for her ability to integrate the teachings of some of the greatest Japanese acupuncture masters, such as Master Nagano, Master Kawai and Dr. Manaka, into a coherent and clinically effective style.

Its eclectic and holistic approach allows for a comprehensive assessment of patients' health issues, resulting in personalized and effective treatment plans.


Additionally, he regularly teaches acupuncture around the world and has published several fundamental texts on the subject.


When not traveling or teaching, she seeks to see patients at her clinic in Newton Highlands, MA, where she is sought after for her distinctive treatment style and ability to provide positive results for a variety of health conditions.
